Campus Safety Products (CSP)

Campus Safety Products (CSP) works directly with facilities managers and security (Armed and Unarmed) officers in offering in-depth All Hazard Emergencies Preparedness Assessments that uncover any gaps in policies, procedures, or physical security strategy you might have in your facilities and campuses.

All services are performed by highly trained and qualified personnel experienced in local, state, and federal law enforcement, military anti-terrorism and force protection, emergency management, and corporate physical security. As a result, Campus Safety Products offers the following:

Onsite All Hazard Risk

Campus Safety Products can evaluate your overall Emergency Response policies, procedures, and actual physical security posture and strategy. A series of comprehensive reports, determined by the type(s) of Assessments being performed, will be delivered which convey situational analysis and detail recommendations for improvement, alignment with local emergency support agencies, and government compliance will be made that will result in hardening your physical security and response posture.

CSP can also deliver a detailed Emergency Operation Plan and assist with Continuity of Operations Planning that provides a roadmap for accomplishing the implementation of a multi-layered physical security structure, which includes:

  • Video surveillance
  • Perimeter security barriers
  • Access control
  • Intrusion detection
  • Mass notification
  • Shelter-in-place security
  • Facility Emergency Operations Center development
  • Communication/collaboration with local law enforcement, fire officials, emergency medical services and emergency management.

Active Threat

Plan Development

An organization can choose to implement one of many All Hazard response scenarios and the appropriate response, such as lockdown, lockout, shelter-in-place, and evacuation. The response chosen is dictated by the apparent threat at the time of perceived emergency, and does not necessarily focus on active shooter, which is catastrophic, but rare. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Unauthorized intruder
  • Armed assailant in the area or onsite
  • Possible terrorist, riot, or active shooter incident in the area
  • Domestic violence being carried out in the area or onsite
  • Severe Weather
  • Fire
  • Bomb Threat
  • Hazardous Materials

Campus Safety Products will work with facilities and security stakeholders in developing a comprehensive All Hazard Emergency Response Plan which includes collaboration with local fire officials, law enforcement, emergency medical, and emergency management personnel (in order to determine the most realistic scenarios for the target environment). This will include mass notification, lockdown verification, and post-emergency evaluation ("After Action Report") and Improvement Plan.

Plan Implementation and Training

Campus Safety Products can develop and deliver a customized and thorough All Hazards Emergency Response Plan Training and Implementation to include:

  • Active Threat Lockdown
  • For Facilities with Armed Security or Company Police, Active Shooter Response training
  • Shelter in Place
  • Injury Care
  • Evacuation

This Program will prepare all stakeholders and participants for each scenario in detail on the appropriate response to any given scenario.

In typical Lockdown Drills (which usually only cover active shooter scenarios) the administration is top-down by security or training administrators - actual real-world response training may not be disseminated throughout the organization.

CSP’s approach to All Hazards Emergency Response Training is individualized, based on the multiple scenarios, which significantly improves speed in response, resulting in overall success.
